Hongling-junying Cu, Au And Fe-co Belt Project
- The three exploration permits, namely Hongling, Junying and Hongtianqidui, are totaling 60.48km2, and 100% owned by HT Mining (Beijing) Limited Company;
- The Pingyuancun Cupper Prospect is of high grade copper averaging over 1% copper with some 10-20g/t Ag, showing the characteristics of ¡°sandstone hosted copper¡± with very significant potential;
- he Junying Fe-Co Prospect contains significant Fe-Co orebodies, it in a belt parallel to, and only 20km from the high grade, large Shi Lu Iron Mine belt. The mineralization is widely spread in the Carboniferous meta-sedimentary rocks, and may be also related to a nearby andisite. All the characteristics of tectonic background, the host rock unit, and particularly the Fe-Co association with local high Cu, are comparable with the Shi Lu Iron Deposit. There is great potential to find a big Fe-Co deposit as indicated by the magnetic anomalous;
- he Hongling Iron Prospect occurs in the pre-Devonian meta-sedimentary rocks. The ore grade ranges 40.26%-67.12% total Fe. There are wide-spread iron mineralization in the whole Hongling-Junying area, therefore, there is the potential to find a large scale iron deposit in the area;
- he Hongling Gold Prospect is hosted in the Silurian phyllite. Our detailed geochem work indicates strong geochem anomalous of Au-Ag-As-Sb. Further geological mapping and trenching have discovered some auriferous quartz vein systems.
The Hongling-Junying Cu-Au-Fe-Co exploration project is located in Zhanzhou area, some 160km SW of Haikou, the capital city of the Hainan Island Province. The main roads run through most of the prospect areas. The two exploration permits of the Hongling-Junying Cu-Au-Fe-Co project, totaling of 53.8km2, are 100% owned by our HT Mining (Beijing) Limited Company. We have been carrying out significant geochemical and geophysical work as well as significant trenching and drilling work since 2006.
The properties are located in the western part of the Hainan Island, tectonically belonging to the NW of Wuzhishan Fold-Belt, and in eastern part of the Junying fault graben. The main rock units are the pre-Devonian silica-carbonate sedimentary rocks, actinolites, and meta-dolomite, hosting the Hongling iron deposit and the Pinyuancun copper deposit; the Silurian phyllite hosting the Hongling gold mineralization; and the Carboniferous meta-sedimentary rocks hosting Fe-Co orebodies.
There is a Variscan Junying diorite (293 Ma) in the eastern part of the prospecting area near the major Fe-Co mineralization. Strong magnetic geophysical anomalous is spatially related to the Fe-Co mineralization. The iron mineralization is wide-spread; the iron orebodies are normally composed by 6-7 layers, totaling 15-70m in thickness, 50-170m long and extending for over 200m along the dip. The Fe grade is normally 50.5-59.5%. The Co orebodies appear to be spatially associated with the iron orebodies, normally within 30m of the footwalls and the hanging walls of the iron orebodies; they occur in the fractured rocks as veins, 65-170m long, and up to 6.4m wide. The Co contents are typically of 0.08-0.15%. All the characteristics of tectonic background, the host rock unit, and particularly the Fe-Co association with local high Cu, are comparable with the Shi Lu Iron Deposit. There is great potential to find a large Fe-Co deposit of the Shi Lu Iron Deposit type.
The Pingyuancun copper deposit occurs in the bottom part of the Carboniferous dolomite, which has been strongly silicified. Some trenching and aditing work discovered the orebody of some 10m wide. The orebody has been traced for over 60m along an adit previously dug by local people. The ores contain about 4-5% Cu with 8-25 g/t Ag, and there appears to be a normal correlation between the contents of copper and silver. The geological and elemental characteristics suggest the Pingyuancun deposit may be the type of ¡°sandstone hosted copper¡±. Therefore, there is a potential to find major copper mineralization in the silicified carbonate rock and in the underlying red sandstones.
The Hongling gold mineralization occurs in the Silurian Tuolie phyllite. The significant Baolun Gold Deposit, which contains over 2Moz gold of high grade, occurs in the same rock units. Detailed geochem work identified strong geochem anomalous of Au, Ag, As and Sb in this area. The follow up geological mapping and trenching discovered some auriferous quartz veins. The potential may be significant.

Very Prospective Porphyry Copper (gold) Exploration Projects In China
The OP is an undeveloped very large porphyry deposit, the indicated resources are some 3.40 Mil ton copper metal,@ approximately 0.5% copper, and there is the potential to find the other half of the deposit to double the current resources.
One of the major orebodies can be directly open pitted with the dimension of 600m long, 300m wide, and over 400m deep, i.e. about one Mil ton copper by one large open pit with very little strip ratio. The deposit also has all the best conditions of water, electricity, rail way, and topography for mining.
This is the best copper project in China, and very few people are aware of it. The Local government Mayor, the Mining company and the exploration geological brigade leaders have had a few days meeting, discussion with us, and invited Sino-QZ Group to finance or through a third party to finance the project.
BMZ shows up in the database as a small but relatively high-grade porphyry in Inner Mongolia SE of Oyu Tolgoi. The 60 million ton group of deposits at SBM has an average grade of 0.8% Cu, 0.8 gpt Au and 0.024% Mo. If really a porphyry it would be the best protore grade porphyry in China.
SBM lies within an E-W trending greenstone belt of Silurian age and is composed of 20 plus mineralized lenses in plagioclase-quartz-chlorite schists. Some of these lenses lie along contacts with Hercynian granodiorite sills with some mineralization spreading into the sills. Schist hosted mineralization consists of quartz veins up to 10cm thick with coarse clots of chalcopyrite and as thin foliation-parallel veins of chalcopyrite. Many samples look like the stockwork found below a VMS deposit with the stockwork rotated into the plane of foliation. No VMS lenses have been found but finding one would not be a surprise. Other districts in the region do have VMS occurrences.
