China Mining 2006
China Mining, one of the major international exploration and mining conferences worldwide, was held in Beijing from 14 to 16 November. Dr Joe T ZHOU and Halina Wen attended the conference as the HMC member with our JV partners Mr Fu and Mr Zhang as well as some senior officers from Hainan.
As an internationally recognized expert for mining industry our CEO, Dr Zhou, was interviewed by the China Gold News Paper, and was reported for the opening day of the conference. Dr Zhou was also invited to Chair the Yukon Workshop during the conference and Halina Wen was one of the coordinators. Dr Gina Dong was invited to give a presentation.
Led by our consulting services MG, Dr Gina Dong and marketing MG, Wensi Zhou, Sino-QZ Group had an exhibition booth during the conference, some major leaders and senior officers visited our booth including the Director and Deputy Director-General of Chinese Geological Survey, Mr Meng Xian Lai and Dr Zhang Hongtao. Investing Overseas - A new era for the Chinese mining industry?
Recently, Sino-QZ Group and our Chinese company, HT Mining, have been approached by several foreign companies for promoting their projects in their countires; and our Chinese contacts both the Chinese government sectors and the Chinese exploration and mining companies have shown strong interests.
Giving the fast growth of Chinese economy with strong resource demands, particularly the central Chinese Bank becomes one of the largest foreign exchange preservers, the Chinese government and resource industries now are actively looking for overseas resource projects to invest. Now Sino-QZ Group becomes another Rridge, actively assisting foreign companies and governments to attract Chinese investors.

Led by Dr Gina Dong, Sino-QZ Group has recently been working with an Australian company for a very prospective gold project with the local Chinese geological institute in northeast China. Our preliminary pre-feasibility geological work indicates significant potential. A formal contact for a JV company is under negotiation. We are confident that a new JV project will be started very soon.
