A Visit to the Yukon
A high-level delegation of Chinese mining and government officials has completed a successful 2-day visit to Yukon. The 12-member group, led by two officials from China's National Development and Reform Commission, comprises representatives from 8 major Chinese companies including China Gold Corp., Jilin Jien Nickel Co., Ltd., China Nonferrous Mining Group, Non-ferrous Metals Co., Ltd. of Minmetals Group, Jinchuan Group, Jiangxi Copper Co., Ltd., Tongling Non-ferrous Metals Group, and Yunnan Copper Co., Ltd of CHINALCO. While in Yukon, the delegation took part in an investment opportunity workshop with Yukon government representatives and 11 Yukon-based companies. Minister Kenyon of Economic Development hosted an official dinner, and delegates also visited Selwyn Zinc deposit.
Sino-QZ Group assisted Yukon Government in preparation of this visit, as well as provided technical translation of all handouts from Yukon-based companies and interpretation services during the workshop and official dinner.

Letter Agreement signed
Sino-QZ Group is pleased to announce that with our initiative and assistance Range Rive Gold Limited (RNG) and Northwest Nonferrous International Investment Company Ltd, a 100% owned subsidiary of the North West Mining and Geological Exploration Bureau for Non-ferrous Metals (NWME) have signed a letter agreement in Xi’an city, which allows NWME to earn into RNG’s Indee Project in Western Australia. Dr Gina Dong, our Consulting Service Manager, accompanied NWME group for their site visit in May, and was also involved in the business negotiations between the two companies.

China Mining 2006
China Mining, one of the major international exploration and mining conferences worldwide, was held in Beijing from 14 to 16 November. Dr Joe T ZHOU and Halina Wen attended the conference as the HMC member with our JV partners Mr Fu and Mr Zhang as well as some senior officers from Hainan.
As an internationally recognized expert for mining industry our CEO, Dr Zhou, was interviewed by the China Gold News Paper, and was reported for the opening day of the conference. Dr Zhou was also invited to Chair the Yukon Workshop during the conference and Halina Wen was one of the coordinators. Dr Gina Dong was invited to give a presentation.
Led by our consulting services MG, Dr Gina Dong and marketing MG, Wensi Zhou, Sino-QZ Group had an exhibition booth during the conference, some major leaders and senior officers visited our booth including the Director and Deputy Director-General of Chinese Geological Survey, Mr Meng Xian Lai and Dr Zhang Hongtao.
